Leader of The Nationals and Member for Murray Plains took a trip down memory lane recently when he visited his alma mater Boort Secondary College.
Mr Walsh said he was honoured to be back at the college to congratulate the 2017 student leaders Caleb Mayberry Charlotte Verley and Taylah Streader.
Mr Walsh offered the student leaders his warm congratulations and best wishes on being elected.
He said true leaders make good things happen not by being the “boss” or standing over others but by creating an environment in which the members of their team can deliver their best.
“Your new role of School Captain will stand you all in good stead for the rest of your life no matter what you choose to do.
“I know that you will learn a lot this year about yourself and others.
“Enjoy the leadership experience good luck and have a great year “ Mr Walsh said.
