Leader of The Nationals and Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh is encouraging emerging leaders in catchment and water management across the electorate to apply for a Leadership Development Grant.
The grants aim to develop the skills and knowledge of the next generation of leaders in water management across Victoria.
“In the Murray Plains electorate there are many passionate and capable young people working in the industry and making an important contribution “ Mr Walsh said.
“These grants provide an avenue to nurture their strengths and cultivate their leadership aspirations “ he said.
The grants have specific categories for innovation aboriginal leadership and women in leadership.
They are open to individuals from government agencies private sector businesses and agencies educational institutions local government authorities not for profit organisations and community networks and groups.
The total funding available is $10 000 for each grant category.
