I’m humbled to have been re-elected at Saturday’s State Election with an increased majority against a statewide swing.
It’s very much a bitter sweet situation with the statewide result and there are a number of seats still in the balance where some good friends and colleagues appear to have lost their positions.
I wish to congratulate all the candidates who stood in Murray Plains for the civil way the campaign was conducted which showed politics and elections can be handled in good spirit by those participating outside the keyboard warriors of social media.
I’m committed to working with the communities and organisations of the Murray Plains electorate and taking the issues that are important to our region to State Parliament over the next four years.
I thank those who supported me through this campaign particularly those who worked at the booths during pre-poll and on Election Day. Your support is invaluable.
