The Nationals Member for Murray Plains and Leader of The Nationals Peter Walsh visited
Woorinen District Primary School last week to present badges to student leaders.
Mr Walsh said he is always impressed when he visits local schools.
“We have such fantastic young leaders across our electorate who are determined to be positive
role models for their peers “ he said.
Despite his hectic schedule Mr Walsh has set an objective to visit 10 schools in his electorate
every 6 months.
“Teaching must surely be one of the most honorable professions and I am keen to do whatever
I can to support and encourage our teachers and their students across the Murray Plains
Electorate “ he said.
