Young people aged between 14 and 17 are invited to attend the 2019 Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment Leader of the Nationals and Member for Murray Plains said today.
Mr Walsh said the program allows young people from the Sunraysia and Riverland districts engage with likeminded individuals while having fun and developing valuable leadership and problem solving skills.
He said this year’s program is a combination of formal presentations group sessions and recreational activities.
“The core curriculum addresses topics including leadership team work problem solving communication and public speaking and motivation and goal setting.
“I encourage young people who are interested in learning effective leadership skills in a fun personal development experience to apply.”
This year the program will be held from the 5th to the 7th of July at Camp Kedron in Barmera.
