The Victorian Parliament is holding a special community event to bring young Victorians to Parliament House through music and culture.
Spring Street Beat will be held on Saturday 21 November 2015 from 10 am 5 pm.
Leader of The Nationals and Member for Murray Plains said the event aims to encourage and promote the musical acts of all styles and cultures.
This unique event is open to artists aged 18 to 35 and Mr Walsh is encouraging local performers to submit an interest.
“It would be sensational to see some of our home grown talent rocking Parliament House “ he said.
Submissions to perform at Spring Street Beat are now open and will close at midnight on October 23. They should include a short bio and a recent video of the artist performing.
A modest performance fee will be paid to each performer selected for the event with travel and accommodation assistance offered to performers selected from outside the Melbourne metropolitan area.
