Leader of The Nationals and Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh has called on the community to celebrate the achievements of exceptional business women by nominating them for the 2016 Telstra Business Women’s Awards.
Mr Walsh said the Telstra Business Women’s Awards recognize and reward the courage leadership and creativity of Australia’s business women and play a critical role in raising the profile of women in business.
“There are many inspirational women from a diverse range of working backgrounds in the Murray Plains electorate who are achieving great things and have demonstrated courageous and successful leadership. The awards provide an opportunity to recognise these women.
“I urge everyone in the community to stand behind our local business women by nominating them for the 2016 Telstra Business Women’s Awards as a way to show our support and encourage other women to follow in their footsteps “ Mr Walsh said.
Anyone can nominate a business women they admire with entries open from 2 May until 20 June 2016 across five Award categories.
