Today Victoria remembers the lives and sacrifice of four heroic Victoria Police members who tragically lost their lives protecting our community.
The Eastern Freeway tragedy will forever be a reminder of the commitment and dangers faced by frontline officers on a daily basis as they work to protect the Victorian community at all costs.
This important event will provide the opportunity to honour and reflect on the legacies of Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor, Senior Constable Kevin King, Constable Josh Prestney and Constable Glen Humphris along with their family, loved ones and broader Victoria Police family.
On a daily basis, Victoria Police members demonstrate the highest commitment to service, community and each other. Today we say thank you and honour the memories of four fallen Victorian heroes.
