Two schools in the Loddon Shire will receive funding under the Planned Maintenance Program according to Leader of The Nationals and Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh.
The funding will provide the two schools with a total of $231 000 to improve their facilities.
The two schools that have received funding from this allocation are –
Pyramid Hill College $156 000
Boort District P-12 $ 75 000
Mr Walsh acknowledged the work of the principals and school councils for their commitment to better buildings and for working so hard to provide a quality education for their students.
“The upgrades to Pyramid Hill and Boort will ensure that students in those rural areas are much better positioned into the future ” Mr Walsh said.
