The Victorian Seniors Card has been expanded to provide business discounts to Victorians aged 60 and over and still working full time.
Leader of The Nationals and Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh said the new Seniors Business Discount Card was part of Victoria’s Seniors Participation Action Plan supported by the Liberal-National Coalition in the 2014 election campaign.
“Greater longevity coupled with better health and fitness are creating positive social change with many Victorians aged 60 and over continuing to enjoy full time work “ Mr Walsh said.
“The card offers a range of business discounts and incentives from more than 4 000 businesses statewide including travel accommodation hospitality entertainment and leisure.
“Eligible cardholders are supported by an online Discount Directory with Seniors Card special offers posted regularly “ Mr Walsh said.
