Monday 24th October 2016

Two Echuca primary schools will receive funding under the Planned Maintenance Program  according to Leader of The Nationals and Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh.

The funding will provide the two schools with a total of $294,000 to improve their facilities.

The two schools that have received funding from this allocation are –

Echuca Primary School                              $160,000

Echuca East Primary School                       $134,000

Mr Walsh acknowledged the work of the principals and school councils for their commitment to better buildings and for  working so hard to provide a quality education for their students.

“With the development of the new school to the west of Echuca and upgrades to Echuca and Echuca East our primary aged students are well positioned into the future,” Mr Walsh said.
