Leader of The Nationals and Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh said that Andrews Labor Government’s latest State Budget offered a very raw deal to the people of Kyabram and district.
Mr Walsh said he was bitterly disappointed Labor had again ignored the pressing need to fund the completion of Kyabram P12 regeneration project.
He said the School Council has presented a strong case for the completion of the project and been very patient over the past four years since the city centric Labor government was elected.
“Kyabram P12 is integral to attracting new families to Kyabram and supporting the community to grow and prosper.”
“With Labor beating its chest about education spending it’s a cruel blow that Kyabram has been duped again this year.
“Daniel Andrews has left the Kyabram community on the go slow by ignoring their most pressing and important issues including education the spiraling crime rate under resourced policing numbers and rural families struggling with the rising cost of living.
This year’s budget is a huge disappointment for the people of Kyabram an absolute raw deal.
Only a Liberal Nationals government will offer a better deal for regional and rural Victoria.
