SPC Ardmona is an icon and a critical part of the social and employment future of Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley.
The former Liberal Nationals government provided the funds to save jobs in Shepparton at SPC a company that’s generated growth and investment in the Goulburn Valley’s economy for more than 100 years.
When Daniel Andrews took credit for the former Liberal Nationals Government’s $22 million package to secure jobs in Shepparton he agreed these “jobs are worth fighting for”.
But in the past three years Daniel Andrews has made business harder for Victoria’s food manufacturers by failing to stop the closure of Hazelwood Power Station and sending energy prices through the roof.
By making policy based on ideology rather than fact Labor’s eroded the profitability of our food manufacturers and destroyed confidence in key regional industries costing jobs and investment in country Victoria.
SPC’s 500 jobs and Goulburn Valley farmers rely on the Andrews Labor Government to fight for their jobs and secure their future.
